Facebook joins the platforms antisocial reads. A shared reel, a photo post, a
video and a /share/ link all come back as the post: the caption, the author
with their name and picture, and the media at its own size, with the share
code exchanged for the permalink it stood for.

A Facebook page never serves only the post you asked for. A reel arrives with
the next five reels of the feed attached, a video with its related videos, and
every one of them looks exactly like the real one. Only the nodes naming the
post in the address are read, so what you get is the post that was shared and
nobody else's. A link to something Facebook no longer has — which it answers
by quietly handing back the Watch home page — is a failure card with your link
on it rather than a stranger's video under your name.
