  Reddit joins the platforms antisocial reads, and brings the conversation with
  it: the post, and every comment the first page carried, nested the way it was
  written. Any comment folds away with its replies, and says how many it is
  hiding while folded. What sits behind a "load more" is counted rather than
  quietly dropped.

  A post that quotes another now shows both. On X and Bluesky the quoted post
  gets its own name, its own words and its own pictures, instead of having its
  picture shown as though the quoter had taken it.

  Links on X are no longer shortened. A t.co that said nothing about where it
  went, and routed you through X's click tracker to find out, now reads as the
  address it stands for.
